  2. minatofreak26, my choice for fire type is this bc it has good sweep potential with fire charge and earthquake, belly drum and rest. being my moveset

  3. I know this is super old, but in case other people come along, here's my team I'm planning on using for the entire E4 and such. It is on Black 2, but it does not include any version-exclusives, and I'll say where I got the Pokemon after the list. Here we go.

    SAMUROTT
    Surf
    Megahorn
    Ice Beam
    Dragon Tail

    ARCANINE
    Fire Fang
    Crunch
    Strength
    Wild Charge

    LUCARIO
    Focus Blast
    Extreme Speed
    Earthquake
    Stone Edge

    ZOROARK
    Dark Pulse
    Flamethrower
    Focus Blast
    Grass Knot

    UNFEZANT
    Fly
    Return
    Work Up
    Roost

ZEBSTRIKA (Slot filler for later Legendary, Emolga also works well for the electric type Pokemon)
    Spark / Wild Charge
    Flame Charge
    Stomp / Thrash
    Pursuit

    Where I got them:
Oshawott (Samurott) was my starter, so... Yeah.
Growlithe (Arcanine) was in the Virbank Complex tall grass
Riolu (Lucario) was in Flocessy Ranch, specifically either the first or second patch of grass you find when you go up into the trees, I can't remember, but that might help.
Zorua (Zoroark) was a gift I got from the guy in the house on the hill in Driftveil City that you have to talk to for plot reasons
Pidove (Unfezant) was also found in Flocessy Ranch, because that's where you stop getting Patrats and Purrloins
Zebstrika is found on Routes 3 and 7, and there's one in Route 3's Hidden Grotto. I'm planning ahead, so I don't have one yet, but I'll get it ASAP. (Also, you can only find wild Zebstrika, which I think is neat. No wild Blitzle, so you have to breed Zebstrika for them)
    Now back to technical stuff

Note that nearly all of these moves are TM/HM requiring, but for Megahorn on Samurott you have to go to the Move Reminder. Growlithe learns Fire Fang around level 20 and then Crunch at level 39, so keep it a Growlithe and make sure to rotate the EXP share between your lower leveled party members if it has trouble keeping up with the others. You are offered a Zorua during the plot, just before the fifth gym, so make sure to pick up the level 25 bean asap. You'll want that dark type if you haven't already gotten it. Here's the stuff you'll need, including TMs and HMs:
10 Blue Shards, 1 Heart Scale, HM Surf, HM Strength, HM Fly, TM Ice Beam, TM Dragon Tail, TM Wild Charge, TM Focus Blast(x2), TM Earthquake, TM Stone Edge, TM Flamethrower, TM Grass Knot, TM Return, TM Work Up, then whatever you equip the electric type with.
The 10 blue shards are for the move tutor who specifically wants blue shards, to teach your Zoroark Dark Pulse. Use Bulbapedia if you want to figure out what level each Pokemon gets their non-TM moves at, but I know that once every single member of your team is level 65, you're done getting new moves, because that is when Lucario learns Extreme Speed. Most of them, though just need to get to somewhere in the 30s and they're done. Anyways, that is it, put whatever items you want on your team. I'm still building mine, but I'll try to reply with how well it turns out against the E4, maybe I'll admit if I used one of the 2 Master Balls on a Ditto, we'll see. Bye.

  4. Oh, be careful to iris' haxorus, since it holds a focus sash which prevents OHKO moves once. You're lucky if Haxorus uses fire blast due to quiver dance. But if you're opponent uses x-scissors, then say good-bye to lilligant.

Also i recommend you bringing along a zoroark. Since it has a very good speed stat and good atk.stat, you can take down opponents who outspeed you. It is also highly recommended since the elite four uses psychic, ghost, dark, and fighting. For dark types, use lucario. For fighting types. Use a flying-type like sigilyph. That way, you can suppress your team personally.

  5. Forgot to say, you must either relearn the dance moves of lilligant or just learn them naturally

  6. I think the good alternative for leavanny in sp.stats is lilligant. It is best to level up petilil up to lv.30 before evolving to lilligant via sun stone. You can acquire petilill early in the middle of castelia city via the castelia sewers after beating team plasma there (before that a man is blocking the path to it). It's move set is good combined with it's above average speed. The moves i used on lilligant is sleep powder, petal dance, quiver dance and giga drain. Quiver dance boosts the user's sp.stats and speed by one. Sleep powder can aid Quiver dance while the foe is asleep. For foes with insomnia, you can use teeter dance to confuse all pokemon. Giga drain and Petal dance are sp.stat based moves, which is compatible yo quiver dance. Giga drain steals health, while Petal dance attacks any random foe for 90 power until the user is confused. But Lilligant's other ability, which is own tempo, prevents Lilligant to be confused. So Lilligant is usefull for sp.stats. It is also effective against Clay and Marlon. When in full power, it can take down Iris team, including Haxorus her ace, due to strong sp.attack and speed. But it is weak to physical moves like megahorn. And using the sleep power up technique can be really risky, so its up to you.
